Our work with DYT Consultant has permeated throughout the organization. Since our seminars concluded last year, we’ve started a book club that centers non-white authors or stories that center non-white characters, employees have been gathering outside of work hours to participate in exhibits, fairs, and parades that celebrate diversity and inclusivity, we’ve hosted potluck style luncheons to highlight recipes/ foods that are mainstream in other cultures, and we have secured a guest speaker for later this year. Without having a robust D&I department, I am proud that our company has put forth effort behind thoughtful D&I programming with the assistance of volunteer employees. I am grateful to DYT Consultant for the seminars and discussions that opened doors and windows for dialogue because many of our employees care about these issues.

All positive thoughts - so great that Designs Direct took the time and resources to dive into education on diversity. Darlene did a really nice job of creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment to have tough conversations and made the information enjoyable to learn

I’m listening to some of my coworkers, and I can tell that they are stretching themselves to really think about things they don’t normally explore (especially the men). I’m personally loving the challenge, and I am grateful for the chance to make adjustments.
